Why Study Entrepreneurship at Worcester?

Two years ago a Dr David Bozward (@bozward) approached me with a vision; to develop The University of Worcester as centre for Entrepreneurial Education in the midlands. Fast forward to the present day and, we have Worcester Enterprise (@Worc_Enterprise) providing dedicated support for students who want to create new ventures and develop their skills.

Through Worcester Enterprise we currently offer: 

  • A BA (Hons) in Entrepreneurship which has been designed to encourage you to start a develop a success venture while building your skills and capabilities;
  • Elective Modules aimed at students studying on degrees across the University who want to develop Entrepreneurial Skills;
  • Incubation space and support from practicing entrepreneurs; and
  • A range of social events and opportunities to engage with local, regional and national businesses.

These have been designed for people who want to start something and create change by award winning staff who’ve made a career of entrepreneurship across a wide range of sectors.
