Two years ago a Dr David Bozward (@bozward) approached me with a vision; to develop The University of Worcester as centre for Entrepreneurial Education in the midlands. Fast forward to the present day and, we have Worcester Enterprise (@Worc_Enterprise) providing dedicated support for students who want to create new ventures and develop their skills.
Through Worcester Enterprise we currently offer:
- A BA (Hons) in Entrepreneurship which has been designed to encourage you to start a develop a success venture while building your skills and capabilities;
- Elective Modules aimed at students studying on degrees across the University who want to develop Entrepreneurial Skills;
- Incubation space and support from practicing entrepreneurs; and
- A range of social events and opportunities to engage with local, regional and national businesses.
